Janaica Anderson is an Abstract Artist self described as a quirky nerd and is a lifelong Alpenian living on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron.  Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the tender age of three; life has always come with its challenges.  Painting is relaxing, balancing  & therapeutic for her.  Today; navigating numerous chronic health issues that sometimes limit or delay artwork completion, she can be found in her home studio creating boldly colored abstract works to find peace & calm on painful days.  “My focus is creating whimsical, intuitive, and color-filled artwork inspired by nature.  I enjoy working with watercolor and acrylic’s, but don’t hold back from creating textured mixed media pieces as well as painted stone fridge magnets & beaded bracelets.  My husband and I enjoy spending time outdoors exploring nature with our furbaby and fishing as much as possible!  I like to create art that is inspired by our outdoor adventures”.
